R.P. EDDY, CEO
R.P. Eddy is the CEO and Chairman of Four Rivers. He is also the founder and CEO of Ergo, a global advisory firm which the Harvard Business Review praised as, “breaking from industry orthodoxy with a radically new model.” In addition, he chairs Ergo Investment Partners. Previously, he was a Managing Director at the Gerson Lehrman Group and a Team Leader at Monitor Group. Prior to entering the private sector, Eddy served in various posts in the U.S. Government national security arena, and as a senior Diplomat. He has a B.Sc in Neuroscience from Brown University.
PAUL WILSON, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Paul Wilson is the Managing Director of Four Rivers, based in Yangon. Paul was previously the founder of Myanmar Capital Advisors (“MCA”) a boutique consultancy specializing in Myanmar. He has over 15 years’ experience in Myanmar and has been based in Asia for the past two decades, where he has held positions with Microsoft, Accenture and Lucent Technologies. In Myanmar, Paul has cultivated an extensive network of trusted local business partners and built deep experience working with Myanmar government ministries and leading entities across all sectors. He has supported clients with market entry analysis, partner selection and government engagement. He has a B.Sc (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from Clarkson University, an M.Sc (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the USC-Marshall School of Business.
RYAN DODD, CIO
Ryan Dodd is the Chief Investment Officer of Four Rivers. He currently manages all investment funds at Ergo Investment Partners. He previously managed Emerging Market and Event Driven strategies at GLG Partners (part of Man Group) in London. Prior to GLG acquiring his business, he was founder of Sayan Management Limited, an Event Driven fund focused on resource related industries. Before founding Sayan, he was a Partner at Aton Capital Group, an investment bank in Moscow (later acquired by UniCredit). He is fluent in Russian. He has a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
UDAYAN (UDI) CHATTOPADHYAY, COO
Udi Chattopadhyay is Chief Operating Officer and oversees business operations on a day-to-day basis, including legal, human resources, marketing, capital raising, and social and corporate governance. He has extensive experience across emerging markets, having worked in Africa, the Indian subcontinent and South East Asia (including Myanmar) on market entry strategy, salesforce effectiveness, due diligence, talent management, public-private partnerships and government lobbying. His previous experience includes strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company and KPMG, where his clients covered a range of industries including telecom, media, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and government. Udi has a BA in Economics from Cambridge University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business where he was a Thouron Fellow. He is fluent in Bengali and Hindi.
